...and it's not even noon yet!

Oh boy, there were big plans planned for today. Plans to start the day bright n' early, plans to finish up the few chores and projects left from yesterday, plans to get the boys to school on time, plans to run to town and get all the errands done in no time at all, BUT........plans changed or should I say the boys had different plans. They planned to start their day bright n' early and they planned to go "fishing" and just like boys do...they had made no plans beyond that! They had decided that the BIG water puddle made from the cracked irrigation port would be the perfect "fishing" spot. It's a mystery what transpired from that point to the point of them coming into the house with wet and muddy clothes, shoes, hair, etc. but I'm gonna guess the "fish" got away. And somehow the cat didn't manage to stay dry and clean either (I'm sure it got some help in that matter). So, in all the hustle and bustle of trying to get kids clean and warm again and fed and backpacks packed, the cat runs in the house and shakes all the wet mud off its body and all over everything else! Yes, big plans were planned for today but plans have now changed and IT'S NOT EVEN NOON YET!
