What a Surprise!

In our ward, cub scouts that are advancing from bears to webelos, must advance by 'wrestling the bear'. The 'bear' is usually the boys father. Well, we've been putting off Austin wrestling the bear since September, because Denver has been working out of town and Austin didn't want to wrestle any other 'bear'. I spoke to the bear leader last week and told her Austin wouldn't be able to do it until Novembers pack meeting. But last week our family got ONE BIG SURPRISE! The 'bear' had made his own arrangements with the bear leader and showed up in town for Thursday night pack meeting! So Austin got to wrestle the bear and advance into webelos. I sure love a good surprise!
